Opponent is absolutely terrible headsup, folding the previous hand with 1050 in SB, and several other times. I figure that he's sure to call here and that I'm almost a definite 2-1 shot to get 2-1 in chips, but that my huge stack and his terrible play tip in favor of folding and waiting for a better spot.

Usually I push like there's no tomorrow here, but would this type of opponent with this hand be an acceptable exception?

complete and push any flop. He'll think you have AA because he's a tard.

It's almost neutral $EV wise. If you lose and showdown 24o, you can count making a huge correction to his bad HU play. I'd pass.
