This particular hand is quite unremarkable, but I find myself in this situation often and am not sure the best way to play it.

It seems like if I make a normal, 1/2-2/3 pot bet, nobody's really going to leave. I hate my hand when a 7 or 8 comes on the turn, and a bit less so if it's a Q or J.

On a flop like this, what kind of bet do you usually make? How about if there are 3 or 4 opponents in the hand instead of just 2?

Maybe I'm still new at SnGs, but you aren't going to raise that pre-flop?

Not out of position, and certainly not this early in the game.

By the way, I tend to make a t30 or so bet on the flop here.

You must have missed the JJ discussion. You shouldn't raise preflop with 99 in early tournament.

I'm confused why there is t42.5 in the pot on the flop instead of t45. Oh well, anyways I wouldn't consider that board too frightening. I would bet the pot on the flop and go from there.

I'm not worried at the board as it is. What I want to know is if I should overbet it to win it right there, and avoid seeing a turn card which destroys my hand. Or should I just bet the pot and dump on the turn if it goes ugly?
