I was just wondering how tight everyone is about calling the extra 5 chips when the blinds are 10/15 and you are the SB

any 2 will do.

more importantly than saving the T5 is avoiding often multi-way, complex post flop situations with rag-"hey i got a piece!"-hands.

baring 'drawing' rags, i have no problem folding the T10

Agree with Bluefeet here, I often fold a rag ace etc in this spot, as hitting anything early on could be very dangerous.

With 6 limpers it is correct to call t5 JUST from the value of your pot odds from flopping two pair (of course the BB could raise).

I play every two however I have much more postflop playing experience than most people here.

This question comes up every month or so.

Take the training wheels off and complete with any 2.

Unless you're playing against opponents who will write "tight" in your notes box when you fold the SB.

It's funny you say that because I saw someone fold the SB on level 1 last night and thought about this post (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=2469817&page=&view=&s b=5&o=&vc=1) .

I made a note on this, and then pushed with any 2 when this guy was BB on level 5 or 6. He folded, of course.

if your post-flop skill is bad, then it might be a good idea to fold for the 5 chips. However, if you're good enough to not lose any more chips on marginal hands, then i think it's silly to fold here. folding to even a min-raise is fine, but i really don't see the point in laying down anything for 5 chips off a stack of 800.

makes abusing BB easier later
easier to 'represent' on the occasions you want/need to raise from a blind
~and so on

with handful of limpers, i do agree that the pot odds make it 'silly' to not complete any two (i recall flopping quads on one occasion /images/graemlins/wink.gif).
