View Full Version : In live play, requesting that all hands at showdown be exposed--+EV?

Pretty much whenever there's a hand with alot of raising and I'm unsure about my opponents cards I ask to see all the hands at showdown. Sometimes people get pretty upset (especially if I folded pre-flop). Am I being an ass? Should I keep doing it anyway?

The response to your first question is "Yes". That rule is in place to help prevent collusion, not to satisfy people's curiosity.

The response to your second question is "Probably, but you have the right to continue." It slows down the game (which is bad if you're good) and it makes people enjoy the game less (which is bad because happy people gamble more).

Yes. That goes double if you folded preflop.
