This is my first hand history post. I just started to play limit hold'em 3 days ago. All my poker experience before were live no limit sit n gos. Any comments are appreciated. Ill post my thoughts at the end.

<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, Button calls, SB calls.

River: (20.50 BB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 24.50 BB

Preflop: I think the way I played my hand was pretty standard (maybe im wrong). I figured when he put in the third bet that he had TT-AA,AKs,AK, or maybe AQs.

Flop: This looked like a pretty good flop for my hand. Since he was aggressive preflop, I thought I would go for a checkraise. After it was capped, I was pretty sure he had AA,QQ,JJ or maybe TT.

Turn: I still thought he had QQ,JJ,TT. I thought he could have aces, but more times than not I should be ahead here so I went ahead and put 4 bets in.

River: I was thinking of check calling, but went ahead and bet and called the raise.

Thoughts? Thanks alot.

I haven't read any other responses to this. But IMO by how the villan played preflop the flop will be capped if it's dud's like that. So I would have led out just to be on the offensive rather than defensive. Everything else looks good to me. And in .05/.10 you can't fully rationalize many opponents.

I call the turn raise and check/call the river and lose to AA.

Don't try to check raise the flop after you cap preflop.

It is so hard to put anything on players at the .05/.10 limit..I've seen players cap with anything in their hands so I would have played it the exact same way.

with your pre-flop rational...don't forget that there are a lot of idiots out there, unless you've got reads on this guy and know he's tight. Even though he's being really aggressive, you have to remember that he's not playing his cards like you would be. Maybe I'm wrong but I have less faith in my opponents is such situations.

Check/raising the flop after being the preflop capper (or only preflop raiser) is a very bad habit to get into.
