Thought the mass of Republicans here would enjoy this one:

I can't say that I agree with all of it, but it's certainly entertaining.

Read it before you posted it in fact. I thought it was an illogical argument. Coulter can be funny, I often agree with her, but her writings sometimes are not that coherent. This article is an example.

In surveys of journalists and media editors, a very significant majority were economically conservative. The "liberal media" claim is completely bogus; in study after study, even the much vilified New York Times slants heavily towards essentially conservative pro-business economic views.

Ironically, in this particular case, Coulter is right. Socially, the media is very liberal, according to the same surveys. Unfortunately, for some reason, people insist on creating just one liberal-conservative spectrum, where everyone who believes in supply side economics must naturally also be pro-life (and probably racist /forums/images/icons/wink.gif ).

For more info on the studies I mentioned, check out the website of Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (http://www.fair.org).

i dont think it is meant to be logical, it is meant to point out certain absurdities by analogy. but it is damn funny.

I'm pretty sure it was meant to be logical by means of pointing out certain absurdities by analogy. I'm also thinking it failed in that, although it raises some valie points.

But why is it absurd to think there's a difference between discrimination based on ideology and discrimination based on gender? This is the problem with her article. CBS has the right to hire only left wing goofballs, or commies, or right wing nuts if they want to. It may be absurd for the left to get mad at Fox news, but Coulter is all mixed up here.
