Which is really better at a tournament? I see all mixes of pros getting up there. Personally I think a mix of Conservative and aggressive is the best play. I just dont have the balls or feel confortable for being SUPER aggressive where any 2 cards look good.

You want to be in the WPT or MTT forums

you need to play opposite your image and your opponents and get lucky to win online tourneys.

Yes thats what I see as correct. You have a style then play it differently enough where people don't realize your doing it to the point it looks like luck.

18 tournaments in a row I have not placed so far. Screw em, NL cash baby.

I keep getting 4th and 5th place over and over losing to AA, KK (by luck) or inferior hands hitting (by luck).

CASH GAME = cha-ching!

Yep , stick to cash games.

I went 9 SNG's in a row out of top 3 which isn't normal for me. Then I went to those mini steps. I got to mini-step 2 , 3 times and never made it to step 3. I'm pissed and sticking to cash games again. I just keep going back to cash games.

yeah online tourney are a different animal especially if you do turbos or the stacks start at 800 or 1000.

I get called a calling station, lucky sob etc ...

I usually do best when the table is loose/aggressive.
I wait for premium hands and then just call em down and get their chips in on the river.

So the type of tournaments that are favorable to better play are the major ones where you start with $5000 chips with 25/50 blinds going up every hour.

A nice slow game with lots of chips.

Im sticking to cash games myself.
