Howdy all.

I'm a new no-limit guy so be gentle.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP2 ($30.73)
MP3 ($14.05)
CO ($49.85)
Button ($14.5)
SB ($7.91)
BB ($29)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.1.
Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, MP1 calls $1, MP2 calls $1, 5 folds.

Flop: ($3.35) Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
Hero bets $3, MP1 folds, MP2 raises to $6, Hero calls $3.

Turn: ($15.35) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero bets $12.45 (All-In)....

Does this suck?

i think you're staring down AcQo at worst or else two pair or trips.

not the worst line. good aggression but perhaps the wrong time to make a move

I thought the 4 was a pretty good card for me.

I'm still trying to figure out how much to bet and raise and stuff.

The four was a good card for you if he had QJ. I think its a decent move. If A /images/graemlins/club.gif Qx wants to call at this point, you have to like your chances.

It's okay, but a fold on the flop is okay also.

Is this because there's such a good chance my hand won't be best at showdown, and I could be facing some big bets on the later streets?

If this was a limit hand I would never dream of folding unless another club came off.

I'm also trying to figure out how my thinking should change with regard to the whole hand, as opposed to street by street. In other words, if this was my regular limit game I would be thinking, "Well, it will cost me two bets to showdown and even if he's got a club draw I'm still the favorite", but I have a feeling I should be thinking "Even if I'm a favorite to win right now, it could be very expensive to get there and I could be drawing to 2 outs already".

This is hard.

You could be drawing dead to runner runner already. If you stay in the hand, you are definitely getting it all in when you are behind. He will likely get away when you are ahead. People don't often raise without being able to beat TPTK and if he can beat TPTK then he can beat you.
