Worst luck in eight months last night. Fate took 4 buyins, but Mr. Tilty showed up for 2 more. Appreciate the abuse, thanks.

No significant reads.

Terrible, right? Easy fold to the preflop raise, yes? Here on Earth that's how I normally play it.

Raise the flop, right? After that be done with it.

Hand 1: What kind of hand would villain have in order to re-raise a re-raise? Smells like a higher pair than 99. I don't think he'd do that with 88. AK is a possibility, but I think he has QQ or KK. I probably fold preflop. You don't have the odds to play for set value. You also have to worry about MP2 (initial raiser).

Hand 2: I think you should spend the money raising the flop rather than calling the turn and river. You'll gain control of the hand. It also might play out differently. He may fold on the flop or shut down on the turn. His response to your raise also gives you some information about his hand.

Hand one is really bad. There is a min-raise in front of you then you min-raised back? Then when someone shows real strength behind, you call pf and overbet the pot into him, giving yourself no chance to find out where you are. Ewww...

Yeah, raise flop on hand 2. It will make the rest of the hand play itself. You seem to recognize this.

Edit: not a min-raise on hand 1. But a mini-raise.
