A lot closer than the other one, I think. Flop I usually check, but occasionally I like to bet it out. FWIW I bet out flops with any OESD or FD from EP and then check/call the turn, but I'm not sure if villain has seen me do that. I'm 8 tabling, so not much for reads.

Not worth it for a pot that small. Turbo muck.

Are you sometimes good here? Yes. Are you good here 45% of the time? I doubt it. Unless you have a read. I have certainly played with people that this is an auto-call against. But mostly, this is an auto-muck.

The pot's laying you 1.2:1. Do you think you're ahead more than 45% of the time? What are the chances that he's bluffing? With all those limpers, who knows what hands are out there? Without a read, I tend to give credit for a hand. Villain has built up a nice stack, so I'll assume he's a good player and that he has a better hand (this time). Fold.

See, I totally agree with everyone in this thread most of the time, and I really didn't have much for a read going on, but I just had a strange feeling that any legitimate hand would bet the turn, or bet the river for less.

I called, he showed K7o and MHIG. I do think it was a bad play though, and I don't want to get results oriented and snap off bluffs all the time. Food for thought I guess.

I think you'll see a ten here a lot more often than a bluff.

On such a draw-heavy board, why did you check on the turn AND the river?

Off topic what are OESD and FP?

BTW I would fold here, esp such a small pot, cant see the bluff over 25%.

If he had a straight draw, it hit. If he had a flush draw, he isn't calling much. Ditto a T, J or 7. The way I see it at the 25 tables, they will call a flop bet with almost any piece of the pot, but fold to a second bullet without a decent hand (decent depends on the player). Most won't call two bets with a draw anyway, so if I bet here I have a not great chance of taking it down, and a good chance of only getting called by hands that beat me, which leads to a tricky river play.

Not that this river turned out to be simple /images/graemlins/wink.gif
