I think it's way too weak to check this. The BB could certainly be defending his blind a marginal hand. Bet 3/4 the pot, but it's time to give up if you get called.

You must bet. t125 will tell you all you need to know. Checking behind is weak tight.

Rag Ace for BB? Sure maybe. But a paired board isn't a horrible flop for any PP. Early on, BB could be calling with a range of draw hands. Just as likely, the presence of the ace might be just the card he needs to see to fold. One way to find out: Hero bets T300.

...the problem though - villian likely/simply calls with A-J (would hopefully fold the pot+ bet w/ heart draw. T100-200 would fold the absence of an A or J, but you'd have a hard time putting him on a hand when he calls the flush draw) and if he DOES, you can't spend anymore chips on the turn...you check, he sniffs you out, bets himself eventually, yadayadayada...out T300 more than you had to be.

eh...probably wreckless advise, but you still have &gt;T1000. the beauty of stars &amp; ub. i keep the ship tight, work hard, and outplay the fish right back into the game before L4.

With these stacks, I'd make a good size bet and be done with it after that. At least the flop is flush coordinated to justify a decent jack bet. ~2/3 pot.

I'm surprised how much support a bet is getting. Isn't this like the QQ example from today where you only get action from a hand that beats you? He'd likely check to the PFR if hes an any ace guy or just tripped. I think I'd check here, check again on fourth street or call down with small bets. I don't think this is at all weak tight on that board.

I check mainly because I have position. If he checks to me again on the turn I'm almost positive that I have the best hand and bet a moderate amount to just end the action and move on. Most opponents are going to have trouble bluffing you off of this on the turn if they missed. Its tough to bet out on an AJJ board into a raiser if you're holding 78

UB allows you to show when you fold? That's odd. I like betting and folding to a checkraise btw.

I'd bet 125 here too (I'll try to keep it ½ of the pot).
Then I'd fold if raised and check/fold if called.
