If you're going to fold the river, fold it when its 2 back to you.

EDIT: I also think you need to fire again on the river.

I'd bet the river instead of checking. If it's two more back to me, I'd probably let it go; I don't think our set is good here 1 in 6.

Having said that, once you call two bets cold, IMHO you have to call that last bet closing the action.

Yes, but you're making an even worse mistake by folding to the last bet.

TERRIBLE river play. Bet the river, fold to this kind of action for sure. Why call 2 cold and then fold for one more bet? I suppose it's better for the environment than setting all your money on fire.

First of all, I think check raising this river is a bad idea (if that was your plan). Also, folding for 1 bet might be an even worse idea. You're getting something like 1:18 here.

Get in the habit of betting these rivers. It never should have come to this.

Even folding when it is 2 back to you is a bad decision IMO..you dont have to win this hand all that often to make it profitable...should have bet the in the first place though I believe

why didn't you fold when it was two back to you but folded when it was one back to you? You should fold the first time
