Making transition to 1/2 where "supposedly" the players are rocks. Was this raise too loose given an average party 1/2 table?

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif.

I think its too loose. I don't even think I open with this.

if the table was really tight I occasionally try this.

I would not raise this after a limper. Some will say that if you are going to play it first in, then you better raise.

I only open-raise QJo from CO or Button.

I would also defend my blinds from a late-position raiser (stealer) with it.

I'm mucking this. I only raise QJo from MP3 first in, or after a really loose limper.

Does anybody else think that QJo and JTo are extremely overrated? I'd muck this.
