I made a lot of edits too add new info just now.

Here are a few stats from my first 123 tournies of 50s. I want to know what this +/- form bubble stat means. Am I being to aggressive in 4,5,6? Also, is my rate of winning 1st sustainable. I've felt like my HU play has been very strong. I'm usually playing for the win in most cases.

Two recent events have made me wonder if I'm being to aggressive with 4 people left. I'm going to try and post a few hands to that effect either below those stats or in another reply post.

ROI: 14%
ITM: 33%
VIG?: $615
ITM from Bubble: 70%

Bumpidy bump.

At least tell me what this +/- % from bubble means.

You mean as far as a definition goes, regarding +/- from bubble?

I think that means that the three ITM places are only 75% of the 4 places there are on the bubble. 25% of the players(one of them) will not make it into the money. But all things being equal(meaning you're ignoring the chip count), everyone has a 75% chance of making it.

Your totals are 70 and 5; if you got ITM as much as you were expected to, that 5 would be zero, reflecting the expected amount of times on average you should be getting ITM from 4th place. If you got in more than expected, that number would rise to as high as 25%.

Your low ITM of 33% also reflects that less than average amount of times you're moving from 4th to 3rd or better.

Interestingly, for my first 200 recorded tourneys, my ITM is 38% but my figures are 69 and -6. Slightly worse than yours, though my ITM is notably better. I have no idea how that could be.

EDITED to fix a screw up.

Should my ITM suggest I need work on my going out early (4-8th place). What are possible leaks that cause this?

Any info on the hands I posted. I'm trying to identify the leak that is leading to my low ITM. It seems once I get into the final three I'm performing very well but not before it.

your higher ITM just means that you make it to the final 4 more often than lehighguy does.

You will certainly not be able to sustain your distribution of 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Sample size is not big enough to tell if you have a problem around the bubble, could easily (and most likely) be a variance thing.
The first 2 hands posted look fine, 3rd depends on reads but I am inclined towards folding preflop. The others too hard to read for me to bother. You should make your hands readable before you post them.

I don't think so. Even a player who is aggressive ITM will probably end up with something like 40%-25%-35% breakdown (yes I just made that up).
