I raised a lot on the turn (and I thought he had top set or something like that and would reraise all in), instead he just called and raised all-in on the river.

After the hand was over I thought about it a little more and now im growing confident that i was bluffed. Why wouldnt he reraise the turn with a set? Could he call that with a flush draw?

Yeah I'd tend to agree as you bet $100 on the turn then bet $56 on the river. That's not even a value bet for this size pot for a hand of your strength.

I'd think he'd be a bit more aggro with not 1 but also the backdoor flush coming + a couple of other straightening cards that would kill his action.

I'd definitely lean towards calling this.

P.S. how has the 200 millionth $50k prize changed your game/stakes if any? GL

Why on earth did you only bet 1/6 pot on the river? That bet is begging to be raised and he obliged. What made you put him specifically on top set? He can't have A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, here? If he has a set, why is he not protecting his hand against the 20 zillion draws?

Your tiny river bet got you in a lot of trouble. If you had a set and just filled up, you wouldn't give your opponent a chance to look you up for 1/6 of the pot. From your opponent's point of view, you really seem to dislike that 3. I would have made a standard value bet.

Stars had a promotion a while back for their 200 millionth hand and he won (winning that key hand).

Are you the same guy who won the 50K giveaway at the microlimit NL? Just curious.

That's exactly what I thought at the time! he would HAVE to raise with a set on the turn....

Damn I was outplayed wasn't I!

looks like a bluff to me, imo. you were just asking for it with that river bet. you need to bet at least 200 here on the river, or even plan on check/calling anything. why bet 56? you are betting half of what you bet on the turn. and yes, he would raise you on the turn with a set, or just call with a flush draw. looks like a missed flush bluff.

Hmmm, they why don't people under bet the river to draw a big bluff river raise. Seems pretty profitable.
