GamesGrid 1/2 Dealer's Choice. Stud games are played with blinds like HE. I am on the button and choose Razz. 8-handed, but I only know two other hands (the rest folded preflop)

UTG limps with xxQ
MP limps with xx8
I raise with 72-3
folded around, both limpers call

UTG has xxQT
MP has xx8J
I have 72-39

Check around, I bet and UTG folds. MP calls.

MP gets xx8JQ
I get 72-396

He BETS, I raise, HE RE-RAISES...

that is all.

Yeah, it seems like he thought it was stud high. His play is obviously terrible. Hehehe, congrats though. /images/graemlins/grin.gif Free money

I heard they started a dealer's choice game and they have. It is played at 1/2 and 5/10 limit I believe.

Games are:
Razz
Stud 8/b
Stud
Omaha 8/b
Omaha
Hold'em

All games are chosen by the button and the SB and BB are placed just as in regular flop games. All games last exactly one hand.

Most of the players (in my experience) chose O8 and Stud8, probably because they are tricked into thinking they are winning more pots than they normally do.

p.s. when HE gets chosen, the game gets ultra tight.

I have to say that Stud with blinds is quite lame.

does first to act stay the same or move to the best up hand each round?

First to act is high hand after 3rd.

Here's a gem from Stud8 that I just saw.

player1 shows [3 A] 5 J Q 2 [Q]
player2 shows [A 5] K K 4 6 [8]

player2 had bet every street from 4th on and called by player1. That INCLUDES the river.

Lol, Player1 should ran on 4th. That is classic.
