Someone help me understand this.

I think that this is one of those rare times that I am folding AA on this flop. A checkraise usually screams strength, and two is outright scary.

I would actually punch in the BB name to poker prophecy here for what its worth. If the BB is a certified donk then I might call. Otherwise I am folding and just accept that I could be laying down the best hand.

there are times i fold big hands usually i do it if someone does a play that i just cant see them doing unless they hit a big hand.. so i'll lay my AA down. if this guy never has acted out of place and you cant see him check raising unless he has a big hand, and if he wouldnt check raise because he thinks your bluffing then sure lay down AA and push another hand later.. this is the part of the game where reads make a difference

I doubt that he has any reads this early in the tournament which is why I suggested poker prophecy. The BB is the one that I'm really worried about- if it was just a checkraise from the SB I think that I would have to pay him off and pray for an idiot with QK. 2 players is definitly too many though

haha, well that sucks. I bet its frustrating to think that you would have taken SBs stack if the BB hadn't been so stupid

too weak tight for me, i would expect to see a flush draw from the push and a strong Q from the first raiser.. why would you fold this so far from the bubble?you have 3k chips if you have best hand, almost certain to money and very good chance at first.. if not, you start up another one.

I see why you made this and I may've done the same, but as I just said in some other thread, if every member of 2+2 never folded a weird hand that you would normally post on the flop, you'd come out way ahead.

Turns and rivers are another story but morons tend to show themselves on the flop.

I reufse to fold aces on this flop. Maybe he has KK, maybe 2hears, ok maybe a set, but if u add all the maybes I think its a clear call.

keep in mind that this is a $50. Yes, these guys were really stupid but there are less of them at this level.
