So since I missed the first episode and a half of 24's season finale, I'm just gonna get the torrents, but instead, right now, I'm watching Nick and Jessica's Tour of Duty USO special on ABC and I have a couple of thoughts.
1) How did these two get to be so famous? Granted, she's hot, but they're both talentless hacks and as far as I can tell, Nick Lachey hasn't done anything in about 5 years since 28 degrees broke up.
2) Who decided that N&J have to be the new Sonny and Cher? Between their short-lived variety show, their USO shows and the fact that she'll continue to have a successful career while he sits at home, drinks too much and talks about how he used to be famous, they are exactly what Sonny and Cher were in the late 60's, early 70's.
3) After having said all this, I just watch Jessica Simpson sing "These Boots are Made for Walking" in a ruffled mini-skirt and I hope to God they stay around forever.
