I`ve just sat at this table, dont know any of the players

No u played this perfectly. You dont have the odds imo to call the turn. Dont worry about hitting the nuts on the river. Calling this turn will be -ev in the long run. NH.

Perhaps against certain opponents, there could be merit to raising the flop and taking a free turn card.

Your line looks good, though.

Youd have to make up 3 bb on the river if you hit, given that your A maybe good i think its a read dependant. I would raise the flop though.
