Is it just me...or is the forum getting slow....

It seems the last week or so the forum is creeping along. I access by cable modem during the night and at work through bonded T-1's and it just seems like it takes longer than usual to bring up threads, change forums, etc...

Anyone else noticed this as well?

Whatever changes happened when the ads were put on the side slowed things down.

if you turn off all scripting and activex and java it should speed up.

also not showing images (text only) will speed things up.

It's taking close to ten seconds for a page to open for me.

Additionally, there is something funny going on with the post button. I can't get a hyperlink to make new posts until I first click on collapse. This seemed to start after I played with the collapsed/expanded preference, but now it does it no matter what this setting is.
