I can't stand the vocals. God they're irritating. I like some of the music itself though.

I listened to some of this at the Borders just a couple of days ago; I was stunned how rapidly it gave me a headache and how little it took for me to be totally done with it.

Pretty lousy in my opinion -- an no I am not a Barry Manilow only kind of guy. I like industrial, metal, etc but this was just lousy.

easily 1 of the best of the year so far only cd i have found worth buying this year Dream theater is next. hell system of a down is 1 of the best bands out there especially live. this album still has nothing on toxicity though.

This album is incredible, and I don't really like this kind of music.

SOAD has the absolute worst vocals of any well-known band ever. Not only is he a terrible vocalist, but I think the lyrics themselves are even worse, if that's possible.

Strongly disagree, I think NIN takes it at this point.
Also, Toxicity was much better than this album although it is amazing and with a follow up album coming in a few months.

Meh! EP is longer than both Shins records.

I was half-joking (note the smiley). EP is obviously a full album, but I wouldn't consider the Woman King EP eligible for its 5 or 6 tracks. From the limited 2005 stuff I've listened to so far, I'd give the nod to Silent Alarm.

Edit: I've listened to everything you listed except In Case We Die, which is in my next Amazon shipment.
