View Full Version : What's your personality type?

pokerjo22

Inspired by all the rating's questions, I thought I'd include a more pseudoscientific approach to profiling OOTiots. Of course, we'll have to ignore the fact that some personality types are more likely to know their personality type. To kick it off I'm an INTJ, although the I is pretty borderline.

what are the chances of you putting in a legend?

pokerjo22

Well, I decided not to do that, so that people don't just guess their personality type. I will do once there are more votes in though.

You realize people that have no idea what this is are just filling in randomly? And severely skewing your results?

I dunno, are people really gonna guess what four letters best describe them? If I give the labels, they definitely will.

You have to fill in a questionnaire that runs to something like 100 questions. And its proprietary so I can't linky it. So yeah, its for people that have already done it.

ENFP

I seem to be in the minority here. Not that I really understand what it means...

*Edit* Heh, I was going to claim BS on this, then I read these things about the ENFP type, all very "me":

* However, attention span in relationships can be short
* they tend to get bored quickly, especially if a newer, more interesting project comes along
* They also tend to be procrastinators, both about meeting hard deadlines and about performing any small, uninteresting tasks that they've been assigned
* Amazingly, some ENFPs are adept at exacting disciplines such as mathematics.
* ENFPs hate bureaucracy, both in principle and in practice;
* They have a strong need to be independent, and resist being controlled or labelled
* They can talk their way in or out of anything
* They are genuinely warm and interested in people, and place great importance on their inter-personal relationships

These results are likely to be messed up because of the random votes, but this was posted before and the vast majority of the people were INxx. There was one version of INxx that was by far the most popular. I am INTJ, and I remember either the T or the J was off from the most popular choice, but I don't remember which. I am to incompetent to use the search function otherwise I would find the thread for you.

ESTPs are spontaneous, active folks. Like the other SPs, ESTPs get great satisfaction from acting on their impulses. Activities involving great power, speed, thrill and risk are attractive to the ESTP. Chronic stifling of these impulses makes the ESTP feel "dead inside."

Yup, that's me.

To an ESTP, admission of weakness feels like failure.
