This hand is from a HH that another poster sent me. What do you think of this play?

Edit: MP1 really didn't seem to be raising too out of line, he was more a fan of limping than raising.

I don't like this play. You have 8xBB, so you're not super desparate yet. You opponent has put 1/3 of his stack in, and will be getting almost 3:1 on your push to call, so you have almost no FE I think. So if we think we're playing this hand to the river, we have to ask what he has. He's in early position and has a bigger stack than you, so he should be less desparate than you are. We also know he tends to limp instead of raise. So I think there's a pretty good chance we are looking at a hand we are losing to, and a good chance we are completely dominated (AJ or AQ).

Fold and wait for another spot to push.

horrible. a 10 is weak. you could push this if there had been no prior raises.

Villain has an automatic call based on pot odds, so there's little chance of pushing him off a better hand. Given the read on MP1, I don't like it. What are you ahead of?

Alright, I'm glad the replies so far all agree with me. But I thought that this kind of play might be required in these sorts of tourneys in order to have any chance of building a stack before blinding out.
