Been playin this guy HU for a while, and overall he is fairly passive. Now the game is 3handed, but that doesn't change much. I have seen him raise the turn for a free showdown before, and am suspicious that is what he is doing here. Not sure if this is the best defense or a turn 3bet?

If he raises the river I am calling.

I've just started playing shorthanded, but is just calling the turn bet and check/calling the river too passive? That would have been my line.

His flop call/turn raise suggests a very strong hand. Have he been raising for a free SD frequently?

If you're considering 3-betting the turn then you couldn't fold to a river raise given the line you took. And I wouldn't either.

if u thought you were ahead on the turn, then you should just 3-bet it.
