Well google didnt bring up much did read on a forum it was written about Courtney Love. My guess reading the lyrics (apart from the bannanas bit and pom poms) is that it means wont talk/shout about you behind your back but meet you head on and take the grievence out with the person in question.

LOL. This post had me laughing. I am a senior in college and last semester when this song came out I heard it like 5 times a night at partys. Personally, I think the song is absolutely horrible but the girls go crazy for it. Play this song for college girls = guarenteed ass. Just one of those fad songs that one has to deal with just like the Milkshake song, but you wont hear me complaining because it makes girls go wild. And Gwen Stefani is hot.

After reading the urban dictionary posts I would be pretty confident in saying it's basically a booty call who sits around and waits for the guy to call again.

Consider that "holla" is about getting play, not about yelling at someone or fighting. Methinks, however, that the present white co-opting of ebonics could change this phrase to mean just about anything. So take my advice with a grain of salt.

I'm just thankful. I'm 25, I don't watch MTV or listen to FM. I have yet to hear this song.
