Good Free Wargames

I read in PCGamer that a lot of old computer war games are now freeware. Anyone played any good ones? I'm at home on a shitty computer and sick of poker could really use some entertainment.

run a search for Panzer General - it was on a discontinued games website earlier - forgot where the link was...

great beer and pretzels wargame -

also there's an old apple one on the virtualapple.com website called Lords of Conquest that was the first wargame I ever played online
