I'm in shock that Jesse lost. I was tricked. Everything lead me to believe that he was going to KO Sergio. The way they kept focusing on "just one punch," and replaying Sergio saying, "I'll quit if I get knocked out."

I don't have any feeling one way or the other for this episode. It was good and the fight was exciting. I guess I am just reeling from Jesee not winning.

The 3rd Place bout between Alfonso and Jesse could be ugly.

Sergio and Peter will be a war. I like them both, but I am pulling for Sergio (which means he'll lose).

I really hope they agreed to a chop when it got down to the Final Four.

i also thought jesse was going to win, mainly because his character has been developed throughout the show while sergio's hasnt. manfredo's character has also been developed so i thought this was a pattern.

i was really impressed with sergio's boxing in tonight's episode. i dont think manfredo will win.

I assume Vegas is taking bets on the live fight? Anyone going to place a bet?

Boring fight, but it was what I expected. Jesse was just outclassed by a better boxer. I like Sergio on Tuesday, but I think it will be a damn good fight.

I don't know anything about sports betting so mind explaining what those numbers mean?

Minus means he's favored. If you were to bet a $1 on Sergio you would win $1.2. If you bet a $1 on Peter, you would win $.70.

Not quite. A negative number indicates how much you would have to wager to win $100. A positive number indicates how much you would win if you wagered $100. So if you wagered $100 at -170, you'd win 100/170 x $100 = $58.82, not $70.

When they noticed that "He missed that uppercut" I knew it was over for Jesse. Too bad. I think the third place fight might outshine the championship. I'm also suprised that Manfredo is favored, but I'll be rootin for him to take down the snake.

Time to break out my pimp-daddy vegas-baby black shirt with the leopard stripe bars... Lemme know if you guys see me on TV! tan bars, not blue! (http://www.iguanaclothing.com/MSS0007.html)

I'm really pulling for Sergio to win the championship fight, but I think that's pretty unlikely.

IMO Sergio is a very smart boxer whose greatest skill has been bout strategization. Ishe Smith was by far the strongest and hardest hitting boxer of the 16, yet Sergio knew exactly how to get him out of his game (keep dancing around and not allow him a steady target forcing him to use up his energy by missing punches.) Sergio also knew that in his fight with Jesse, he couldn't get into a punching war up close with Jesse and allow Jesse to get off any uppercuts or land a KO suckerpunch. He kept Jesse away from his body and used his straight-arm lefts to keep at Jesse's injured eye. Sergio was arguably the savviest competitor in this tourney (Joey Gilbert: close 2nd place.)

However, Peter Manfredo has a hell of a lot of confidence after his past few victories and is a world-class fighter. If you've noticed at the end of all of his wins, Peter looks as if he had barely been scratched in the ring while his opponent's face looks as if Gary Sheffield had just went to town on it with a louisville slugger. He hits like a truck.

I really hope Sergio wins, but I think that Peter will take the decision as he will prove to be too strong and too tough for Sergio to handle at Caeser's.

I assume 2nd place is pretty good prize money and that there wasn't a chop, after that comment about Sergio having a house.

I love this show but missed the Gomez vs. Manfredo fight. A quick recap please. I really expected Gomez to win it all.

And how can people cheer for this Mora guy? So many likeable characters on this show and he just isn't one of them.

My hope is we see some of these guys make it big or at least somewhat big.
