Was going to ask about the call on the flop, but to be honest it was academic. Just wanted to share a successful info gathering incident.

Notes:
L1 SB called 4x raise from button, overbet pot
L1 BB reraised 3x raise from CO, all-in on flop
L2 UTG 3x w/KJo, bet missed pot, gave it up to reraise
--leads out on every out of position flop--
--crushes SB limps

Button and BB where solid players, but not too confrontational in the blinds (duly noted). I would limp more times than not from CO or earlier with mid-pair with plenty of time & chips, but I new SB would be calling...knowing, I would be pushed off of the pot with an over & his lead bet.....

1 fold, Hero raises to t250, 1 fold, SB calls t225, 1 fold.

Flop: (t550) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
SB bets t1315 (All-In), Hero calls t1315.

Turn: (t3180) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t3180) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t3180

SB had Q /images/graemlins/spade.gifJ /images/graemlins/spade.gif

...got the flop & the action I wanted. Of course, he could have just as easily turned over 2 pair (or worse) I suppose, but having this information makes these "should I call or fold?" decisions a bit easier.

I know, earth-shattering stuff... /images/graemlins/wink.gif

in my experience most players aren't going to lead out 1315 into a pot of 500 if they have better than top pair.

I don't need a note to call that bet.
