Bacholer party in tennesee this weekend, driving down with Victor and another 2+2 lurker (the poor engaged sap), the first three hours are uneventfull, untill we pickup Buzzbait in Cincinnati. The car is crowded, but we have just enough room for a laptop and a verizon Air card allowing us to play some tournies and shorthanded on our way to our first stop- Ceasers in Indiana.
A couple of sit n goes, and a 5-10 6 max table and we are down 150$ bucks when we cross into Indiana. a brief dispute about directions and we miss our turn (despite a very large billboard for Cearsers) and by the time we turn it around and make it back we are back to even, and actualy up 25$.
Wrong turns are +Ev.
Ceasers is unimpressive, and irritating as they charge for drinks, i start off with a shot of tequela and a corona as often as the waitress will come around. At the 3-6 table we soon teach one of the locals the new words "straddle" and "limp reraise". He learns them well, and we soon drive the weak tight nits away from the table as Victor and I enjoy a lag fest.
Notable hands.
I limp in the c/o with A2o, and victor raises from the BB. Flop comes rags with a 2. Victor bets out and calls my raise, the turn brings a third spade (i have none) i call his turn checkraise, but he checks the river when the fourth spade comes. I bet, and he mucks QQ face up-
I turn over A2o, giggle, and order another drink.
I get Trifected
I raise two limpers with KTo, and victor calls with the limpers.
Flop comes T high and i call Vicotrs checkraise, as does one of the limpers. The turn brings a K, vicotr check raises me again, and i three bet- and its heads up.
river is a rag and i bet, victor checkrasies me again, i three bet and he is all in, flipping over A3o for a riverd wheel.
Time to take the reload walk of shame (the dealsers can't sell you chips there) as my two racks are depleated. While at the cage i notice there is a 10-20 seat open and switch tables.
Weak tight nits abound, but at least they let me restraddle on this table once victor sits down. Four hours later its last call (another problem with the casino) and i am up 300. The table breaks down into a shorthanded game and i get colddecked and am slowly sobering up- i bust out 800 and head to the car at 7am. Victor and Buzz wake me up in the car at 8 and we hit the road again. Stoppinng in for breakfst Shoney's to wait untill Radioshack opens so we can pick up an adapter for the laptop.
I take a break from driving and get in on a 15/30 and a 5-10 sh game with Buzz and vic passout in the back seat. I win 150 before my brain collapses and i pass. Vic is up a few hundred when i wake up and we loose our connection in southern Kentucky.
