Could someone give me some advice on playing hands like these?

It seems continuing isn't worth it, but I feel odd just check/folding here.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, UTG calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (8.33 SB) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>

That's just browsing through one search. Try looking around; the answers to your questions are already out there.

i personally don't raise this preflop. since you did, and the board is soooooooooooooooo ragged, i'd go ahead and bet.

I didn't mean to be an ass...it just comes naturally.

He was asking for "these types of situations" so I figured he could benefit from seeing a few other similar examples and their explanations.

I think you'd be better served by posting a long description (in blue) of each thread you found in the search. At least a paragraph apiece might be sufficient, longer if necessary.

Pokey gave you information on what he found in his search, but sadly failed to inform you HOW to search. Many have problems using the search function.

Look at this helpful guide (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&amp;Board=exchange&amp;Number=2065086&amp;Fo rum=f20&amp;Words=%2BSearch&amp;Searchpage=0&amp;Limit=25&amp;Main =2064990&amp;Search=true&amp;where=sub&amp;Name=21723&amp;daterang e=1&amp;newerval=12&amp;newertype=w&amp;olderval=&amp;oldertype=&amp;b odyprev=#Post2065086)

I put brazilio on ignore about a week and a half ago, so his comments no longer bother me. Interestingly enough, despite ignoring everything he's posted for over 10 days, I haven't had any difficulties understanding any threads he posts in. Apparently his signal-to-noise ratio is hovering at about zero.

As Pokey posts another steaming pile of dogshit, I've got the distinct urge to scratch my balls.

Despite how much i dislike pokey, his post was warranted. If you're a newbie you need to use the search function. It's a fact.
