Well of course I called, and lost.

But I mean everyone advocates playing uber-tight early.

I don't know, stupid question I suppose.

I don't care if the entire table moves all-in in front of you. I believe the answer is "yes."

Sorry to be a wet blanket here, but I probably wouldnt call if the entire table went all in ahead of me.

Although I probably would have the best starting hand, I think folding into 2nd place would be +EV, as opposed to hoping that 9 other hands dont improve to beat me. Calling is chip +EV, but I dont think it would be money +EV.

Your thoughts?

Actually, if the entire table moves all-in in front of you, I think a case can be made for folding AA considering that your equity is incredibly high already having a huge chance to win second (70+%, hoping no split), and a really nice shot at third too.

Note that this spot is nothing like that. CALLLLLL!!!! You have AA, you are over 50% getting 2:1 odds!!

if everyone else at the table moves in on the first hand of a Party SNG the correct answer is to fold.

calling is probably not even +chip ev since the other 2 aces are most likely locked up somewhere else and you are stuck at square one while there are 7 live hands. plus you are all but guaranteed 2nd, so it is a fold.

but these situations never happen, so don't worry.
