Since there is another player left to act behind you, going for the overcall is fine here. However, if it was just HU, you should definitely raise. More often your opponent will have rivered a K or some janky two pair here, so you can raise without problems. You are definitely good more often than not. If op 3bets, I would probably call, but that's because I can't find my fold button. It's my biggest leak right now, not folding. Although in this case I doubt it's a big leak.

Wow it is impossible to put him on a hand. Meh I guess I raise and hope that he didn't backdoor a straight or flush. More power to the guy if that is what he did.

I put villain on KJ and raise that bastard

I think you made a mistake with the 3-bet. Had you just cold-called, you would have gotten bet into on the turn with a greater frequency and gotten more money in on the big-bet streets as opposed to just one more small bet on the flop.

Call flop, bet/raise turn, bet/raise river.

Two pair is much more likely in this scenario, so I am definitely raising and calling if he 3-bets. Heck I'd put him on AK, KQ, and KJ long before I would think he has AT, T9 or spades...
