Need to Impress - 2nd Date?

You'd think after all the friggin dates I've been on lately, I'd have some good ideas up my sleeve, but no. I have a second date with this girl tonight (the 1st was just a 2-hour meet up for drinks kind of thing, so I guess this is the 1st "real" one). Usually I don't worry too much, but this girl is really hot and really cool, so I think I'm going to need to impress her a little if I want to keep her around. So, any good ideas? I am 28, she is 25, both "professionals", so this isn't like a high-school "take her to a movie" kind of thing. We are in the Boston area, so there should be plenty to do, but nothing's jumping out at me...

Oh, and just to get it out of the way now - no, I think it's probably still too early to stick it in her pooper...

This is the right idea. So take her out to dinner, then to the aquarium, then you'll be very close to the north end so you can get some gellado (sp?). Mmmm, gellado.

Aquariums are boring as crap. Besides, you don't want to pay for a ticket and then have her decide 30 minutes later that she'd like to go make out on her couch.

A movie or a competitive game - pool/bowling (not candlepin you new english freaks) - is an acceptable time sink.

This is wrong. I went to the aquarium a couple weeks ago and it is very fun. They have a cool jellyfish exhibit there right now too. Also, if the OP fails on a date there are probably going to be some MILF's there.

Not the movies thats the worst place to go on an initial date. Nice food and a nice trendy chilled bars impress her with your wit and charm (if you have any of course) and by being yourself, the more you try and go out your way to impress the more chance that a) you make a dick of yourself and b) she is put off by you trying too hard.

Activity dates for a first proper date are hard cos you probably dont know 100% what she would think is fun to do, thats a topic of conversation to try and plan for date 3.

I guess it depends on the girl. If she is a competitive sports gal type, then a game is good. But some girls really suck at games and get bored with them really quickly. And yeah, making out on the couch is the ultimate objective, but you gotta have some foreplay.

Don't try to impress her... if she's that hot, then she's used to guys trying too hard. Be yourself, take her to a nice dinner somewhere so you can talk, and then find out what she would like to do after. Bowling, pool as a couple people suggested, whatever she would like.

Obviously, have a back-up plan in case she's an "I don't know, whatever you wanna do" kinda chick.
