No. I would certainly have folded it preflop against an UTG-raiser. But on the flop you have the top 2 pair (heads up) and you are only losing against the raising hands QQ and 99. He still can have AA or KK or something like AQ or 66.... With no reads I would have played it in the same way.

EDIT: Not the same way; I would have raised a little bit more.

Looks good to me. I think many villians will 3-bet this non-straight, non-flush board with AQ, KQ, KK, or AA. There are more combinations of these than QQ or 99 so I like the cap. Sucks when you get raised on the river, but I think you played this properly.

Oh...the preflop call is a little suspect since the raise came from UTG. Against CO or the Button, I would easily call Q9o.

I'm still getting used to the shorthanded games. I know you have to loosen up a bit but perhaps I am to loose in the BB.

In a 10 handed ring game this is pretty much an automuck from an UTG raiser but shorthanded I seem to never fold my BB to a raise with hands like this.
