Just curious if you guys think this is a +EV play long term, it is in the 2nd hour of an $11R. Me raise was to see where I stood, just so happened he reraised, however, in the end I thought the 2x BB bet preflop looked more like AJ or a PP. Thoughts?

Well I don't think the raise is for information, since when he reraised you pushed. I'd raise too, but remember that its for value, especially since you pushed after the raise. I'd play it the same way most of the time, unless I think the opponent is agressive enough to push the turn with a hand like 99 after calling his reraise (but he would fold to a push) , then I would just smooth call the reraise, then call a push, or push if checked to.
