New at the table so no reads. I'm particularly interested in the river line...I went bet/call, but I'm curious if others would suggest check/call or bet/fold.

The river raise blows, but you played it correct.

Yeah, he could easily be calling down with a worse K or JT or a PP, hands he'll call with on the river that you beat, so checking is bad. And an unknown might just bluff this often enough to make a call profitable. Anyway, you'd hate to find out an orbit later that he's a complete donk after you folded.

I was thinking someone would advocate bet/fold here. He had Q6o and caught the river trips. MHING.

I call the river too, but has anyone ever actually won being raised in a situation like this? It seems like never.

What limit do you play? At party 2/4 there are enough players who'd raise any river scare card, to make this call profitable, imho.
