This is a probably a long shot, but does anyone know offhand of a good Teppanyaki restaurant, preferably in the Metrowest Boston area?

It's a style of Japanese restaurant where everyone sits around a table/grill and the chef cooks all of your food right in front of you. He puts on a little show, flipping stuff around and what-not. It's a fun place to go out, and the food, in my experience, has always been excellent.

Chef Orient on Route 9 west heading from framingham to Southboro. Before the Sheraton Castle, right across from some car dealership. Its damn good.

Sakura Tokyo is a good place, location probably isn't what you're looking for though.

Come on - Chef Orient had Teppanyaki? Wow that's only 3 or 4 miles from me, but I've never been in there. I've always assumed it was just a Chinese joint...

I've been to Sakura Tokyo...it's good, but for some reason it really bothers me that they don't cook the fried rice on the grill there, it's pre-made. Every other one I've been to, the fried rice has been part of the show. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Best one I've ever been to was the Tokyo Steakhouse in Nashua, NH.
