Soda tastes best when....

Just grabbed a Vanilla Coke and decided to drink it through a straw for giggles. Realized that it does, in fact, taste better through a straw than from the can. Don't know why. Always thought the same thing when it came to beer from bottles vs. cans. So...

Cream Soda is probably the best kind of soda ever (in my opinion). Are you trying to imply that one kind of carbonated flavored high fructose corn syrup is more manly or hip than another?

It was a little tough to decide that it tastes the best through a straw, but I can say it tastes worst out of an aluminum can without having to think.

There must be some science behind this rather than personal preference. My guess is the way soda hits your tastebuds through a straw targest more of the "sweet tasting" buds.

You're always supposed to drink beer out of a glass when you can, although I don't know thre reason glass makes it tastes. I'm sure some of you do.

Wine drinkers would probably know the most I'd wager.

Obviously it tastes different from a can or bottle. I prefer canned for some and bottled for others. And canned I can drink warm, I cannot stand warm bottled pop. (NOT Soda, it is called pop grrr.)

I prefer a cold bottled beer over any of them though.
