My buddy Mike Sandberg is on this episode. We used to play in a home game together. Excellent player, he had the NY Times article written about him. I called him right after he busted Scott Fischman. He said the producers had them play two of these freezeouts and that the structure made it basically a crapshoot. They slowed down the structure for the second one but then sped it up towards the end so that they'd get done in 2 hours.

Mike finished 4th or 3rd in the first one and 2nd in the other one, to Dave Williams. He said the blinds were so huge after the producers increased them that it was an all-in fest. So he got a total of $15,000 and they paid for his hotel and flights.

And yes, Erin Ness looks smokin'. Much better than she did at the WSOP.

So she spent some time in the hair and make-up chair. Actually it looks like everyone on the show did, compared to their WSOP appearance. Doesn't matter much to me, she looked good either way.
