This player seems to like 3 bet isolating me, though I suspect he has had hands when he does it. Is my turn semibluff worth it given that he 3 bet me preflop? Do I need to fire on river, maybe another line I could take?

I would check raise this flop. There you have enough equity that it does not cost you anything, it is actually for value.
And the cr the flop bet the turn line will probably fold almost as many hands as this turn cr. I wouldnt bet the river here without a specific read as on paired boards no one seems to fold ace high.

Definitely in favor of a flop check-raise.

Also would have check-raised the turn if it came off a 2 instead of the 9?

I like the other posts: CR flop much better.
Regarding the hand as you played it however, you have to bet the river. There is at LEAST a 1/8 chance that villian will fold to a river bet.

Ironically, the 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif is one of the worst cards that could come on the turn for you. Nobody believes you have a nine, and nobody is folding A high when you represent a nine. I would just call the turn.

The board shows 9962. No one is believing your CR. I know I wouldn't. This is an easy spot for opponent to call down with Ace high or a pocket pair.
