Okay, I posted this a while ago and didn't get any serious responses, so I'm trying again.

What would my best use of a free $58 be?

Is there some killer PS2 game I need to get? Or DVD set or electronic gadget I don't have?

Help me!

I'd buy some nice scotch (not great obviously, but nice) or some mind altering substances. . . if you're not into that whole scene, then i'd go dvds/books/cds/some sort of entertainment media

take your wife out to a nice dinner dude. Seriously, games get old and while dinner lasts even shorter, your residual EV is well worth it the drop in immediate gratification. Better yet, suprise lunch while she is working.

Buy a $2 pair of pantyhose. Exchange the remaining $56 for 1120 nickles. Fill the pantyhose with nickles and use it to bludgeon morans. Money well spent.

This is my question as well.

When I saw this post, my original thought was that maybe it was some perverse game. "I'm purchasing an object listed at MSRP $1,399.99. What is it?" Sadly, if it is something of that sort, it is well hidden.

Target pwns Walmart. If you want it cheap, get it at Target. If you want it cheap, and want everyone to know you got it cheap, get it at Walmart. Discuss amongst yourselves.

By the way, two questions, no smart-ass answers please:
1. Why the 'p' in front of pwn? What does it mean??
2. FYP...?

p in front of pwn because the p is next to o and a common writing error. it is also part of the 1337 (leet-elite) language.
FYP = fixed your post. people do it to try and be funny, but it rarely is.

target is in holyoke and walmart is in northampton so i dont get to go to target regularly and also walmart > target anyways, sucker.

You are correct, Target does pwn Walmart.

The 'p' in pwn comes from computer gaming nerds who misspelled and it stuck, or it was misspelled in a game and it stuck with all the nerds.

FYP means "Fixed Your Post"

Nice idea, but this is a gift card that must be used at a Target-like store.

I need some crazy awesome game recommendation, killer new device or other such nonsense that I can buy for a mere $58.

When I was a kid, candy bars cost five cents - except for Mounds and Almond Joy - they were ten cents. All soda came in glass bottles and a big bottle was worth five cents on a return. They were hard to find. Small bottles came with a two cent reward. Those weren't too hard to find, and Mrs. Warnakie had a candy store with a big glass case full of loose candy in bowls that mostly sold for a penny a piece. Some was two cents, some was two for a penny.

Of course, things were a lot cheaper for my parents, when they were kids.
