When should I buy a laptop? If I buy one now, will the technology change significantly in 2 months? Or should I wait until July?

Is the Dell 9300 the consensus choice? Or is it worth looking into other options? I'll be using this for both poker and school.

What screen thing do I need to get to 4-table?

I heard they were coming out with eyeglass computers. Save your money and just wait til those come out. Just kidding. The Zoo would prolly be more responsive to your questions, although the question's been asked 1000x.

does anyone have an opinion on averatec laptops? I've been looking for one as well, and these seem decently priced

Got my 9200 today and I like it. You need the WUXGA 1920x1200 to 4-table.

dell 700m.

it will not 4-table but it will get you tons of hot chicks. they'll swarm all over you. seriously. i'm swatting them off my sack as we speak.

I bought a 9300 about a month and a half ago. I would buy it again if I was shopping for a laptop today. Fwiw I am a computer nerd.

700m is crap. Get the Inspiron 9300.

Edit: I see Buster said the same thing, which might make me change my answer, but I'm sticking with it. I also own one and it is fantastic.
