Up thru my first two games yesterday, I was on a run in which I had placed ITM an incredible 14 out of 18 times (20+2, PP). I was on a roll. And then. . .BAM!!!!! I hit a streak of 12 in a row OOTM, which included 5 4ths, and 3 5ths. I was thrilled to end the night with a 3rd and head off to bed to start fresh today. My ROI WTD is still a respectable 20.5% even after the horrid day.
What is the best way to shake my rememberances of yesterday and move forward with a good day today?
Thanks,
Les

14/30 ITM, pretty good.

Remember that /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Edit: 15/31 in fact.

Thanks for the positive re-inforcement, Lori. With the smal sample size so far this week, I looked at all the numbers and realized I was just ONE win lower than my "goal" ITM % of 42.5% (obviously I lost a little before the nice ITM run of 14/18). I started off today with a first, so all is well!

ROI WTD=Week to date?

Your week to date ROI means nothing. I think people who stare at their ROI after each set are insane.

it may or may not be, but he said that his goal ITM was whatever, not his goal ROI. to my knowledge, something around 35-40% ROI at the 20s is a very reasonable goal. i may be out of touch though.

I don't think 35-40% ROI at the $22s is a reasonable goal in the longrun, but I could be wrong.

boo. oh well. i can't really talk about personal experience at the 22s, so i was just going on feel /images/graemlins/smile.gif

perfectly reasonable, IMO

I guess I didn't make it clear. My goal was ITM at or above 42.5%. If I can acheive that, I believe ROI will virtually take care of itself. Obviously, 42.5% ITM with all 3rd places would not be very profitable (just the opposite), but I would assume a fairly equal distrubution of 1sts, 2nds, and 3rds. Maybe my stats by the time I get over a thousand of these in will show me some other trend.
Thanks,
Les

I sincerely doubt anyone gets those numbers.

okay, I need to learn to read.
I mistakenly took that as 40%ITM with 20% ROI. I don't think a 40% ROI is sustainable at all. I am humbled by my own ineptitude.

Not multitabling anyway....especially four or more.

I wouldn't be too surprised if 35% ROI could be a very worthy goal single tabling in the $22s. A very distinct challenge but probably doable....of course, why are you single tabling the 22s for 35% ROI?! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
