I just wanted to pick your brains.....
I've never played in a casino before. I do pretty well in PP SnG's but I was thinking of attending a NL Hold'em tourney at a local Casino but the structure seems kinda odd to me.
See what you people think.

Buy-in $30 + $4 entry fee
60 players
Each player starts with $1000 in tournament chips
Blinds go up every 15mins
Top 5 get paid: 50%, 20%, 15%, 10% and 5%

Blinds:
25/50
50/100
100/200
200/400
300/600
400/800
500/1000
500/1500
1000/2000
1500/3000

It seems to me that from level 2 you have to start playing quite aggressive.
This structure doesnt leave much to skill and alot more to luck. Is it just me?
Is this typical to have the blinds go this high this fast compared to your starting stack?
How many hands should I expect to be dealt in 15mins?
What kind of strategy would you recommend??

Any input would be appreciated,

Thank alot,
J
