Peter A. Fabrizio, 23, was killed in a car accident on I-395 near Mohegan Sun casino at about 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 4th. He was a regular 20-40 to 75-150 HE and stud player at both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos.

Pete was also a regular in and a founder of our basement micro-NLHE home game here at Yale University. He was a lively, friendly, and intelligent person, and his poker play reflected it. All us 'fat humps' (as Pete so affectionately called the regulars in our home game) will miss you sorely, Pete. Rest in peace.

Pete was a very good big bet poker player, especially for being so young. More importantly, he was bright, energetic, and good company. I am truly sorry to hear that he is gone, for him and his family.

Thanks, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Pete was my best friend, even my Best Man at my wedding in March. I feel a tremendous loss for all and pray for his soul and for his family. I am going to do all I can at work (The Sun) to try to get Peter Lau to hold a 50/50 tourney with 1/2 the prize pool to go to the fund. Keep watching here and under Tournament forum for more info. I know many of you would play in Pete's honor.

Thanks and God Bless, Glen Peterson
