Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Hero (t2050)
BB (t2840)
UTG (t4295)
Button (t815)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to t815 (All-In)</font>, Hero?

If you play, you push.

BB isn't going to let this go if you fold, and if button wins the stacks will be pretty even. Should be hard to bully the field then.

Now, I'd guess A6 sooted is a monster here, so a push should be in order.

I love playing Aces, but A9+. Is it silly for me to want to dump?

I think this is an easy push. He is desperate and can beat a lot of his hands, and there is also a lot of dead money in the pot since he only pushed 2bbs.

if yer in the BB its a lot more automatic. if the BB is a complete donk.. it can make thinks tricky. i DONT think you can go TOO wrong by folding, though its definitely not +cev. pushing i cant possibly see a reason NOT to do it, so go ahead and push. if you doulbe him up, he has 2k chips and yer down to around 1200, with the button, so you still have a bit of life left. shove them chips in. holla

the button flipped over Q4s. Too bad the big blind came along for the ride too with AQo. luckily i sucked out big time and took down a 3 way pot /images/graemlins/grin.gif. This game is easy

obviously pushing is very +chip ev, but I'm not sure where to draw the line and give up an edge like this to slip into the money.

This is pretty clear imo.

Well you can't draw the line here. If button wins against BB's random hand you are both equal in chips and he's on your right. With A6s (and plenty of worse hands) you need to get yer money in.

Did you push, or just call?
