I assume you mean .86

.086 is a post-breakfast norm for many college students

When I worked at the County Correctional Center we had a group that we nicknamed the "600 Club" they were homeless and constantly being picked up for public intoxication. They would average in the 600 range that is 7.5 times the legal limit in Mississippi(.08). They would do anything for liquor and had drank so much for such a long period of time that they could get up in the morning after a 12 hour hold and still be 4-5 times over legal limits.

I believe .86 is supposed to be fatal - I'd have to check and see - I thought after .5 you were in serious danger -

how the hell did he get to .43? - He musta bought a bottle of hard booze and chugged it - don't see how any self-respecting establishment/casino could serve a guy that much willingly-

Another report stated that at 0.40 most people would be unable to stand or sit upright without assistance.

.86 is certainly above the LD50, but I'm not surprised that _someone_ could survive it. Most people definitely wouldn't.
