Mat, please bring back...

...the options on the left side of the page. It makes this site much quicker and easier to navigate when I can change categories regardless of what I'm currently looking at. Having to click on "The forums" or "Main index" is much more frustrating than having any choice present at all times.

P.S. Why was it changed in the first place?

I wholeheartedly agree. This is the first change I really don't like. It takes a long time to get where I want to go.

Make that 3 votes. The new change makes navigation much harder. Hell, it took me a few seconds to figure out I had to click on "The Forums" when I got to the main page.

I prefer just having the forums (good if your screen is small), but since this was also possible before (by opening this forum page in it's own window - I have as a favorite link), you wouldn't loose anybody by changing back to the old format!
