I was planning to check-raise the PFR, but I decided to just call when the SB came along.

Seems fine, anything other than an A on the river I probably throw in a bet to take it down, but AsXs is always an option here, although unlikely for the CO as they generally will try to buy it on the turn acting last. So maybe try to steal on river?

You went wrong when the A /images/graemlins/spade.gif didn't show up on the river.

Thanks to those who replied. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

SB had 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif for flopped bottom pair/no kicker plus the 9-high flush draw.

CO had 55.

Just seems like I could have taken this at some point, but maybe not.

Depending on the range of hands that CO would limp with, I think you can bet this river if you think he's likelier to raise with a suited ace than just limp.

i like a flop c/r. your c/r'ing two people makes it look more threatening and makes it more likely that CO folds Qx. plus there's just that much more money out there to steal. and as soon as i see someone overcall on the flop, i assume flush draw.

i like the turn and river. too much chance the CO calls with Q9 to bluff the river.

forgot to mention in my other post - you also have a chance to win the pot by checking, if CO was bluffing outright and SB had a straight or flush draw.
