Hola guys.. first post here

I'm a decently experienced low limit hold em and stud h/l player, but mostly cash games and my stud hi game is a bit lacking. i know (kind of) when to shoot for my low and when to let it go, but stud hi hands really confuse me and i usually only come across them when i'm shooting for a nice low and end up getting trips instead.

now im not completely oblivious to the hi hands, but what are some good starting hand requirements when you want the hi side of the pot? are 3 os connectors good enough to come in with?

lastly, how should i play in early and late stages of MTTs for hi/lo? always try for hi? the lo? depends on the table?

thanks in advance for any tips

Get Ray Zee's book.

High three-straights are garbage and should be played only as steals.

In the early stages, tend to play it like a cash game, although it will probably be somewhat tighter. In the later stages when you're playing short-handed, high hands go up in value and I tend to be clueless.
